Students

Midwives of Muskoka is a teaching practice. We have had great pleasure in hosting many students in our practice in the years since we opened our doors.

Student midwives are placed in our practice to gain hands-on experience and skills. Each student is assigned to a midwife as her preceptor, and is continuously supervised by the preceptor and other Registered Midwives in the practice.

We hope that you will feel excited about the opportunity to be an integral part of a student's learning by inviting her to participate in your care and becoming one of her teachers.
